About Kevin Darcy

Kevin Darcy was the starting goaltender for the Valiants across three seasons, earning conference recognition in 2011. He was a commanding presence between the pipes and a vocal leader on the ice, known for his composure in high-pressure moments and his ability to keep his team in games when they needed it most. His consistency in net was a defining factor for the Valiants during some of the program's strongest competitive years.

After graduating with a degree in education, he spent two years as an assistant coach at the college level before moving to the prep school ranks. That transition allowed him to combine his passion for hockey with his commitment to teaching and mentoring young athletes. Kevin is now Head Varsity Hockey Coach at Belmont Hill School in Belmont, Massachusetts, where he also teaches history. He has built a respected program at Belmont Hill, developing players both on and off the ice.

He credits his time at Manhattanville with shaping his approach to coaching, leadership, and mentoring young athletes. The lessons he learned as a Valiant, about preparation, accountability, and competing every day, are the same principles he instills in his own players. Kevin lives in Wellesley with his family and remains a strong supporter of the Manhattanville hockey community.
